Turkmenistan has secured its position among the top ten countries worldwide offering the most affordable diesel fuel prices.
According to data from the Global Petrol Prices (GPP) portal, diesel fuel costs a mere $0.0285 per liter in Turkmenistan. This places Turkmenistan alongside Venezuela, which boasts the world’s lowest diesel fuel price at $0.004 per liter, as well as other nations like Iran, Libya, and Angola that feature prominently on the list of countries with the most economical diesel fuel prices.
Conversely, countries such as Hong Kong lead the chart with the highest diesel fuel prices, reaching an astounding $3,105 per liter. Joining Hong Kong on this end of the spectrum are countries like Albania, Israel, and Switzerland, where diesel fuel prices are notably higher.
The significant disparities in diesel fuel pricing globally stem from varying national policies on fuel taxation and subsidies, highlighting how these factors shape consumer costs across different regions.
