OPEC+ Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais arrived in Caracas on Monday for a working visit that includes a significant agenda aimed at promoting comprehensive policies beneficial to oil-producing nations. His visit also serves to reaffirm the founding principles that established OPEC+.

Venezuela is recognized as a key player within OPEC+, boasting the largest proven crude oil reserves globally. The country’s prominent position in the hydrocarbon market underscores its vital role in the group’s strategic initiatives, as highlighted by the Vice Presidency.
