Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, held talks with Haitham Al Ghais, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), on Tuesday. Al Ghais expressed strong support for Azerbaijan’s leadership in the upcoming COP29 conference, highlighting the country’s significant contributions to global climate discussions. He also praised Azerbaijan for its proactive involvement in managing the global oil market and its constructive stance on energy regulations.
